Our Princess – Valerie Marissa Gaspar

A beautiful butterfly, a princess came into our lives

Across the ocean, I watched her grow

Through pictures and stories from my brother and my family

I watched her blossomed

I finally met my beautiful niece so many years ago in Singapore

Now a shy, beautiful young child always with her sister and her brother

Smiling, dancing, big brown eyes, and ever so cheeky was our Val.

Fast forward a few more years, now our Val is a young teen

With teenage aspirations and dreams

Still smiling, still dancing with her big brown eyes and still so cheeky

Our princess will always be in our hearts

Now she will watch over us and protect us

As she walks hand in hand with Jesus and her grandpa (my dad)

Rest in peace our beautiful princess

You will forever be in Our Hearts.
